It doesn’t matter if the CO2 comes from the atmosphere or from a point source – using our sorbents we can absorb this greenhouse gas and turn it into carbonates to be used in building materials
No need to regenerate the sorbent by applying coslty heat – for the latest sorbent material the carbonate is processed with reactant to form the new sorbent with only the excess goes toward the making of the building products
Solid sorbent technology
The sorbents are sodium based and one of them has been tested by the university of Ben-Gurion in Israel and confirmed that it works
The basic chemistry is well known :
2NaOH + CO2 => Na2CO3 + H2O
The real innovation is how to make a solid sorbent with high surface area so it can be safe to use and react with co2 passively
Produced bricks that contain the carbonates, making them low carbon bricks and reducing the amount of concrete as a result

Monitoring is done by using microcontroller and sensor that transfers the data to the cloud
A few carbon dioxide capture machines have already been built and operated in the outside enviroment
